The site

A remote property with a home, bunkhouse, shop and garages, and no utility connection, so every kilowatt-hour is made on site. Four rooftop arrays feed a seven-inverter stack and a battery room sized to carry the property through long northern winters. Two standby generators back everything up, and Starlink keeps the site connected.

• Expanded the battery bank from 48 to 60 modules, with manufacturer-approved 12-high stacks
• Rewired and documented each roof array (string mapping, megger testing, per-array single-line drawings)
• Prepared the ESA plan-review package: system SLDs, battery-capacity review and equipment documentation
• Designed generator automation: selection between the indoor and outdoor units, plus an automatic bypass if the inverter stack faults
• Installing HiveGuard monitoring with a text alert if a generator is called and fails to start, on the owner's in-wall iPads and phones
• Manage the system remotely and work directly with the inverter and battery manufacturers on support

Phase 2

About 33 kW of new ground-mount and solar-fence arrays to fill the stack's seven remaining MPPT inputs, fed by aluminium TECK home runs sized for CSA voltage-drop limits.
